Recently, a group of people between the ages of 70 and 80 were asked with their single biggest regret was. Of course, there were answers like “cherish more moments,” “enjoy every phase” of life, and “being open to more experiences,” but one answer came up noticeably more than any other. That answer revolved around money, the quest for it, and the obsession with it. Over time, the general consensus was that, yes, money makes you more comfortable and secure, but as long as you’ve got food to eat and a roof over your head, it’s really not more important than the people and experiences you surround yourself with.
