Having to pay taxes sucks. A Pennsylvania man, Barry Tangert got two envelopes in the mail last week. One of them was his tax return of $900 which he was happy to see, the other was a bill from the Pennsylvania Dept. of Revenue. The income tax billing notice he got said he owed $34,576,826, 521.47. According to Barry, his tax guy found an error on his 2022 tax return and filed an amendment. Barry wasn't sure if it was an error from his tax guy or a computer glitch of sorts. He knows for sure he didn't make over $100k in a year and there was no way he owed that much. Luckily he was able to call the Dept. of Revenue and get it resolved.
