Girl Dead After Being Hit In Head In Freak Accident In Maine

A six year old girl is dead after she was hit in the head with a part of a badminton racquet that came loose while she was playing in Maine. Police said it happened on June 1st in in the western part of tMaine. The family is from New Jersey and was on vacation when the shaft of the racquet became dislodged and pierced the girl's skull. She passed away on Wednesday. Police called her death a tragic accident
