Southern Utah authorities are looking for a historic military vehicle last used by a state lawmaker's dad. The U.S. Department of Agricultural Forest Services says the half-track is believed to have been stolen last month from the Boulder Mountain Row Lakes area in Kane County. The public has helped track the suspected thief to a place near Kanab and authorities think that person has ties to Colorado City. Forest Services explained the half-track was used during the 1950s by Torval Albrecht, the father of Representative Carl Albrecht. He used the vehicle to haul lumber in the region.
