A Wagoner County man is in trouble for beating up the kitty. According to reports, in late May, Wagoner County deputies were called to investigate a possible animal cruelty case. When they got there, they were told that Jacob Lederman had intentionally harmed a domestic short haired cat called Maverick. After investigations and several interviews, along with getting vet records backing the claims, they got a warrant to take Jake in. So, on July 10th, which is also National Kitten Day, they found Jake in the Claremore area and took him in without incident. He was booked and later released that day.
