A woman attacked with a shovel in Fresno is expected to survive. She took a friend to her ex-boyfriend's home to drop off some things and that's when it turned violent. Police say the man began beating them both right in front of neighbors. At least one person tried to intervene but it was too late for the friend, who died at the hospital. Police are still piecing together what led up to the assault.
