In Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, 36-year-old Joshua Kim found himself arrested after pulling out a gun in a candy store and holding employees at gunpoint over candy he wanted to return. It all went down at Sugar Life Ice Cream & Candy Bar, where Kim reportedly wanted to return some candy. When a manager told Kim that candy returns weren’t allowed…which is supposedly made clear during the check-out process…an argument reportedly ensued. That’s when police say the piece came out, with an employee saying that Kim said, “I put a chunk in your head if you don’t bring me back my money, right now. It’s no lie. It’s no lie.” Surveillance video appears to back up the employees’ account of what happened. Kim was later arrested at the resort he and a female companion were staying at…and where cocaine and weed were also allegedly found.
