A man who calls himself "The Bubble Pirate" was given a ticket for "fluid littering." Sandy Snakeberg is a Navy veteran and was putting on a bubble-making show for children at a park in La Jolla [[ LAH HOY-yuh ]], California. As the children and their parents cheered with delight, a Park Ranger approached and wrote Snakeberg a ticket for violating the municipal code for littering. The Ranger added that the soapy liquid was bad for the grass. The ticket mandates a court appearance. Snakeberg lives out in his bubble-making van and is awaiting his time in front of a judge.
