It's one thing to forget your phone in the crapper...but your gun? In Florida, an officer stopped at a local gas station to snap a deuce. While on his phone, the officer took off his gun belt to use the bathroom and hung it over the railing. When he was done, he put his belt back on and went to respond to a call, and that's when he noticed the gun wasn't there. Two dudes, Damari Dennis and Chance Byron found the piece sticking out of the toilet paper roll. Damari didn't wanna take it because he was on probation. Surveillance footage shows Chance leaving with a noticeable bulge on the right side of his waist as he was leaving the store. The gun was later sold for $40 on CashApp. Both men are facing multiple charges including grand theft of a firearm. Damari gets extra charges for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The gun was eventually recovered and the deputy will likely face a review by the department.
