Men Busted With 400 Stolen Sticks Of Deodorant

Down in Miami, a couple of dudes are in trouble for swiping a butt load of merch from local businesses. According to reports, 40 year old Carlos Garcia-Ajete and his 41 year old accomplice Nivaldo Garcia-Vento were suspects in a large retail theft ring which targeted stores like Publix, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, and Winn Dixie. Wednesday, deputies found a vehicle matching the description they believed the thieves to be driving and pulled them over. When they stopped the vehicle, Carlos got out and ran but was quickly apprehended. They told the cops they were coming from Ft. Meyers, but police suspected that was a lie and went to review the store's security footage. That's where they found Nivaldo in the personal care section grabbing a Gillette Razor pack and concealing it on him then leaving the store. When they searched the vehicle they found six large trash bags filled with suspected stolen goods. The haul included 400 sticks of deodorant, razor blades, razors, fishing gear, cosmetics and other stuff valued at nearly $5k, along with a device used to remove the magnetic security devices. They were both arrested and charged with multiple felonies including grand theft.
