A mistake by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has landed a man in an El Salvadorian prison. ICE admitted to an "administrative error" that sent Kilmer Armado Abrego-Garcia to the notorious terrorism confinement center. Attorneys are filing a lawsuit on behalf of Abrego-Garcia who is requesting to return to the U.S. The filing states he has no affiliation with any criminal or street gangs and the government has produced no evidence to support the accusation. Abrego-Garcia has a wife who is a U.S. citizen and a five-year-old child.
