A garbage removal company in Pennsylvania is being sued by a Pittsburgh-area employee who claims he was run over by his own truck. Tyler Spade of Uniontown is suing Republic Services, as well as a Penn Township resident and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation among others. Spade claims his truck hit what he described as a "leaning and overhanging tree" back in August. The complaint claims the impact caused Spade to be thrown from the truck, which ran over his legs. According to the complaint, Spade suffered multiple injuries, including leg fractures, permanent nerve damage, lacerations, and contusions. He also claims the injuries have resulted in pain, anguish, sickness and agony.
