A homeless man who had been living on the streets of San Luis Obispo, California will soon be a million dollars richer thanks to a scratcher lottery ticket. An employee at the convenience store where the lucky ticket was sold said the man - a regular there - thought he'd struck it rich with a 100-thousand-dollar win and had to be told the real amount. That same employee says he drove the man to Fresno the next day to start the process of cashing in the ticket. A California Lottery spokesperson says it could take from a few weeks to a couple of months for the prize to be awarded.
