A Queens mother of two is dead, two weeks after unlicensed cosmetic surgery left her brain dead, and her doctor behind bars. María Paz Peñaloza Cabrera was removed from life support and died, after her March 28th butt implant removal at the Astoria home of Felipe Hoyos-Foronda. Officials say she went into cardiac arrest from too much lidocaine Hoyos-Foronda as anesthetic. The mother of two sons never woke up. Hoyos-Foronda, who was not licensed to perform the procedure, was arrested later that day past security at JFK Airport. He's been charged with assault and practicing medicine without a license; additional charges are now likely.
