A January survey from Talker Research took a deep dive into the thoughts and feelings of 2,000 dog and cat owners across the country. What they found was that 56% of them said they’d be willing to “shorten their lifespans” if it meant that their pet would live longer at their side. In addition, around the same percentage of pet owners said that the animal they adopted had “literally saved their life” in some way, shape, or form.
