Just like any pair of footwear, Crocs tend to get dirty too. A new trend that has gone viral is washing them in the dishwasher!
Aussie content creator Anthony Di Paolo has taken to Instagram showing how he cleans his Crocs – in the dishwasher.
In the video, he pops them in with all the dirty dishes, before removing them to find that they’re as clean as new – albeit a little smaller. Apparently, it works really well.
Commenters on the video, which now has close to one million views, were mortified to say the least.
Some even accused Anthony of posting rage bait. But, he’s not the only one who’s done it, with all kinds of people posting the hack across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
According to the Crocs website, they recommend two methods for cleaning your Crocs – hand washing, or putting them on a delicate cycle in the washing machine with gentle laundry detergent.
