Steven Tyler reportedly "doesn't want to tour" after his comeback performance last month.

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry said the frontman isn't interested in touring with his legendary band despite making performing at Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath's Back to the Beginning concert in July. The appearance came nearly two years after the band was forced to postpone their Peace Out farewell tour in September due to Tyler's vocal injury and one year after the group announced their decision to retire from touring, per Ultimate Classic Rock.

"It has been the honor of our lives to have our music become part of yours," the band said at the time.

While Perry isn't completely ruling out the possibility of a final performance, stating "I would bet there's an Aerosmith show left," he told WBUR in an interview published August 12 that a full-fledged Aerosmith tour is less likely.

"There's been talk about doing a documentary, that might be part of it. I've been spending a lot of time with Steven and he just doesn't want to tour and he can't tour. It's tough," he said. "I'm not sure I would want to go out and book another 40-city tour. It's along way to the top and staying there takes it out of you, especially an Aerosmith tour."

Perry's comments come weeks after he teased the possibility of a final show with the band, stating, "I would say, at some point something's going to happen."
